SStamped

Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

Stamped is an iPhone app that makes passport, visa and ID photos. This page explains what it collects, and it is short because the app collects very little.

Your photos stay on your phone

Face detection, background replacement, cropping and the rule checks all run on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Photos you unlock are kept in the app's own storage on your device until you delete them or the app.

What the app sends to our server

Purchases

Payment is handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases with Apple; RevenueCat receives the random device identifier and your App Store transaction details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Support messages

If you write to us through the support page, we store your message and, if you give one, the email address to reply to. We use it only to answer you.

What we do not do

No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data, no analytics SDKs. Nothing you do in the app is used to train any model.

Where it is stored

Our server and database run on Cloudflare.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings and tap "Delete all my data". That removes your account, unlock records and usage events from our server immediately, and the photos stored in the app on your phone. We keep the record of each App Store purchase, which holds only the random identifier and the product, because it is what stops one purchase being granted twice. You can also delete the app, which removes everything on the phone.

Children

Parents use Stamped to make photos of their children for passports. Those photos are processed on the phone like any other and are never uploaded.
